When placing a bet on a sports event in the "Sports" or “LIVE” sections on OlyBet, you can choose one of four types of bets:
- Single bet
- Multi bet
- System bet
- Chain bet
- Bet Builder
All these types of bets are available for both pre-match and live (in-play) bets. You can also combine pre-match events and live bets into one ticket.
What is a single bet?
A Single Bet is a bet on the outcome of one sporting event. There are three possible results when placing a single bet: Your bet can win, lose, or be returned. A single bet can include any type of market (team win, totals, handicap, etc.) on any event (Champions League, NBA, Elections, etc.). Example: You place a 5€ bet on the following event: Real Madrid vs Barcelona. Barcelona wins (W2). Odds = 2.45.
- In the case of a 1 v 2 match result, the team you predicted to win wins. Your bet has been won, and your game balance is credited with 12.25€ (5 x 2.45 = 12.25€).
- In case of a 2 v 1 match result, the team you predicted to win loses. Your bet is lost.
- If the event was canceled and not replayed within 24 hours, then the amount of your bet will be returned to your balance within 24 hours.
How do I place a single bet?
To place a single bet on OlyBet, you need to do the following:
- Log into your OlyBet profile or create a new profile if you do not have one yet.
- Then you need to go to the "Sports" or "LIVE" section.
- Select the category you want (soccer, Serie A, politics, etc.).
- Click on the event you are interested in.
- Choose the market that suits you (team win, totals, handicap, etc.).
- Enter the amount of the desired bet.
- Click on "Place Bets".
- Done! You have successfully placed a bet. Good luck!
What is a multi bet?
Multi bet is a bet on several events in which the odds of the events are multiplied among themselves. The minimum number of events in the express is 2, the maximum is not limited, however, please consider that the maximum odds may differ in each event. If at least one event in the multi bet loses, the entire bet loses. Multi bets can include any type of bet (team win, exact score, totals, etc.) on any event. However, it should be borne in mind that some bets may conflict with each other (for example: a win for two teams in one event at once), which makes it impossible to make a multiple bet. If one of the events is cancelled or calculated as a refund (with odds 1), then it is simply not taken into account in the bet. The odds of the multi bet will be reduced, but the bet itself remains inactive.
Example:
You place a 5€ bet on:
- Real Madrid v Barcelona. Real Madrid wins (W1). Odds = 2.70.
- Juventus v Torino. Juventus wins (W1). Odds = 1.40.
- Spartak v Lokomotiv. Draw (X). Odds = 2.85.
In this example, the total odds are 10.77 (2.7 x 1.4 x 2.85).
- If all events end according to your forecast, then in this case, your bet wins and 53.85€ (5 x 10.77) will be credited to your game balance.
- If at least one of these events ends with a different result, then your bet loses.
- If one of the events is canceled or postponed and is not replayed within 24 hours, your bet will be settled, but the canceled event will be counted with odds of 1.

What is a system bet?
A system bet is a kind of complicated multiple bet. When placing a system bet, you can choose from 3 to 16 events and it is not necessary for all the events included in the ticket to be predicted correctly to win the bet, in contrast to the multiple bet. However, the odds in a system bet will be lower than in the multi bet with the same events (below you can find out how the system bet works in more detail). Also, the winning amount may differ depending on the number of won/lost / returned events.
You can familiarise yourself with our system bet calculator by going to the sports betting page and clicking on the calculator icon in the right corner of the page.
How does a system bet works?
A system bet includes a set of events that are combined into several multi bets, while the amount of the bet is equally distributed among all multi bets in the system. The name of the system bet consists of two numbers, for example, "4 out of 5":
- The first number (4) is the number of events in each of the multi bets of the system bet.
- The second number (5) is the number of outcomes in the system bet.
That is, there are only 5 outcomes in the “4 out of 5” system bet, which is combined in a multi bet of 4 events in each. There are 5 multi bets in total. In this case, for your bet to win, at least 4 out of 5 selections must win. Then, in your system bet, 1 out of 5 express bets will win.
Below is a table of dimensions. The horizontal shows the number of events in one combination, and the vertical indicates the number of outcomes in the system bet. For example, "4 of 8" is in the fourth column of the eighth row. That is, the table shows that there are 70 combinations in this system bet. The minimum bet on a system bet is equal to the number of combinations in the system bet, but the bet amount must not be less than 0.30€. That is, making the system bet "5 out of 8" the minimum bet will be 0.70€ (0.01€ for each combination).

Example:
You place a 3 out of 4 system bet of 5€ on the following events:
- Real Madrid v Barcelona. Real Madrid wins (W1) wins. Odds = 2.70.
- Juventus v Torino. Juventus wins (W1). Odds = 1.40.
- Chelsea v Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid wins (W2). Odds = 2.35.
- Zenit v Spartak. Draw (X). Odds = 3.20.
There are 4 combinations in this bet. That is, the amount of your bet is equally divided between 4 combinations (multi bets), 1.25€ for each combination. To win this bet, it is enough to correctly predict only 3 events out of 4. Below you can see all combinations (multi bets) that are formed in your system bet, as well as the coefficient of each of them.
Simply put, you make 4 express bets of 1.25€ each (5€ / 4), where each bet contains 3 events.
- If the result of all events is the same as you predicted, then in this case, all combinations will win, and you will receive a maximum win of 64.74€ ((1.25 * 8.88) + (1.25 * 12.09) + (1.25 * 20.3) + (1.25 * 10.52)).
- If one event from the bet loses, the bet will still be calculated as a win, but the amount won will depend on which event lost (you can check the result in the system bet calculator).
- In case of return (void) of one or more events, but the rest of the events will remain active, your bet will be settled as a win, but the amount of the win will depend on which event was voided (you can check the result in the system bet calculator).
- If more than one event loses in the bet, your bet will be settled as a loss.

What is a chain bet?
This type of bet is a cross between single and system bets. Its essence is as follows: the player chooses a series (at least two) of single bets from unrelated matches, then selects the order in which these bets will be settled. The total winnings of the chain are directly affected not only by the results of the outcomes but also by the chosen sequence of bet settlement.
Example:
You have selected three events - the victories of the guest teams (shown in the screenshot). All matches start simultaneously, but in the chain bet, the results will be settled exactly in the order in which they appear on the bet slip.
- The value of the bet is 10€. Initially, all this amount goes to the first event outcome, that is, the victory of Mikael Ymer. If Mikael Ymer fails to win, the chain immediately gets void. If Mikael Ymer wins, the chain bet will accumulate winnings in the amount of 24€ and move on to the following sequence.
- The bet continues with the next match, Holger Rune vs Benoit Paire, with the same initial bet amount of 10€. If this event wins, the winnings (37.20€) will be added to the amount already earned, totaling 51.20€. If the bet loses, the chain will remain active with a bank of 14€, of which 10€ will move on to the 3rd selected event.
- The same procedure continues with the third event, Grigor Dimitrov vs Adrian Mannarino, with the initial bet of 10€ at stake. If the first two events have won, these 10€ are allocated from the chain balance of 51.20€ (If Benoit Paire had lost, then from the amount of 14€). In case of victory, the final winnings on the third bet (31€) also get added up to the total chain profit, totaling 82.20€. If the event loses, the 10€ is deducted from the entire chain balance.
According to the example, there are several calculation scenarios:
- If the first bet in the chain did not win, the bet is immediately lost.
- If all matches win, you will receive a payout according to the maximum odds indicated in the bet slip - 7.22;
- If the first event wins and the rest don't, you will receive a payout of 14€;
- If the first and second events win, the payout will be 41.20€.
- If the first and third events win, the payout will be 45€.
- If there is less money left on the chain balance than was initially involved in the first bet, it will be bet all at once. If this bet loses, the chain gets interrupted and considered lost.
The chain can consist of any number of single bets on any sports type, events, markets, and outcomes (including live ones). The main thing is that they are not interconnected. The players themselves determine the event settlement sequence. It doesn't matter in what order these events conclude in reality; what matters is the order in which they are added to the bet slip.

What is a Bet Builder?
Bet builder is a feature that allows you to place multiple bets within the same event from a vast range of markets in which the odds of the markets are multiplied among themselves. The minimum number of markets in Bet Builder is 2, the maximum is not limited, however, please consider that the maximum odds may differ in each market. If at least one market loses, the entire bet loses. Bet Builder can include different types of markets (team win, exact score, totals, etc.) and offered on football (all top football, best leagues, Champions League, World Cup etc), Basketball (incl. NBA, tbc around EuroLeague), Ice Hockey (incl. NHL).
Example:
You place a 5 EUR on FC Red Bull Salzburg - Dinamo Zagreb with the following markets:
- Salzburg will win a match – Odds = 1.75
- Both teams will score – Odds = 2.00
- Mislav Orsic will score – Odds = 17.00
In this example, the total odds are 59.5 (1.75 x 2.00 x 17.00).
- If all markets end according to your forecast, then in this case, your bet wins and 297.50€ (5 EUR x 59.5) will be credited to your game balance.
- If at least one of these markets ends with a different result, then your bet loses.
- If the event doesn’t happen, your bet will be refunded.
